SHOWER THOUGHTS WITH Emily Oates

Emily is a health and fitness online coach with a passion for helping people feel their best from the inside out. While training and nutrition are a huge part of that, she also believes looking after your body goes beyond the gym β€” from the food you eat to the products you use every day.

She is always looking for simple ways to support her health and skin, which is why she loves sharing things that genuinely fit with that lifestyle.

Had any interesting shower thoughts lately?

Improved skin and hair! My hair is so soft and healthy since installing the Hydra shower head filter.Β

What does wellbeing mean to you?

To me, wellbeing is about taking care of your body inside and out. It’s the small daily habits, from training and nutrition to looking after your skin and overall health, that help you feel your best.

What’s one wellness habit you think is underrated?

Supporting your skin with nourishing food, hydration and everyday habits.

What do you think people misunderstand about being healthy?

That healthy has a certain look. You can’t tell someone’s health just by their body.

Do you see showering as part of your recovery routine?

Yes, I always look forward to my shower and using it to recharge and look after my body.Β

What’s your favourite way to reset after a long day?

Self care - warm shower, hair mask, facial and a nice dinner at home.Β

What’s one thing society overvalues when it comes to health or fitness?

That our appearance determines if we are healthy, we always need to be looking after our bodies no matter what.Β
